Have you ever watched one of our Iconic Alligator Feeding Shows and thought “I can do that.” This is your chance to show us what you’re made of. Walk out on our bridge and lean over the edge as our hungry Gators and Crocs leap out of the water to grab a snack from your grip. You’ll need nerves of steel to successfully do the Fast Hands Challenge and a bit of showmanship. Don’t worry, if you lose a finger, you’ve got 9 more – right?

FACE TO FACE CHALLENGE

Are you ready to come face to face with one of the big boys? Go behind the gates and get up close with Big Daddy as the two of you get extremely close. With little more than a Gator Stick between you, feed him, learn his cues and do it all right next to our lead keeper on the banks of our pond. When it’s all done, we will commemorate this heart pounding experience by taking the ultimate photo.

UNCLE WADERS
CATCH A GATOR POND
ADVENTURE LEVEL: Beginner

Climb into a pool of baby gators as our keeper guides you on the proper way to catch the little critters. They’re fast but with a little bit of training you too can be an expert wrangler. This is the perfect way for a family to enjoy some hands on wranglin’ here at Gatorama. Grab the whole crew, kick off your shoes, roll up your sleeves and get to work.
PYTHON ENCOUNTER

Meet Ebony & Ivory, the Ball Pythons, in our Python Encounter. An invasive species, Pythons have been getting a lot of press lately. Learn about their habitat, their favorite meals and feel the power of these animals as we drape Bleu over your shoulders for an up close and personal approach to learning. Don’t forget your camera, you’ll definitely want to show friends and enjoy those bragging rights.
TORTOISE ENCOUNTER

Have you ever wanted to meet an animal that can live up to 150 years old? Gatorama is home to a couple of tortoises that we are sure have many, many stories to tell. In our Tortoise encounter our keepers will take you in their environment where you’ll learn about their history and even get to feed these gentle giants. As a beginner level adventure, it’s perfect for the whole family, even some of your more timid adventurers.

Check out the Gatorama Featured Creature. All of our animals love to be in the spotlight, and our zookeepers work hard to make sure that every star gets their celebrity moment. Meet Kira, our Featured Creature Croc and all her friends in Reptile Cove. You never know who will be the star of the show, but we promise they’ll be ready and showing off their celebrity smile for all your Instagram worthy photo moments!

GATORAMA is proud to present their World Famous GATOR feed show! The show is included in your admission and will allow you the opportunity to see some of the oldest and largest alligators in captivity. You will get to see our keepers crack jokes, while hand feeding hungry Alligators. If you’ve never heard a jaw pop from an apex predator, you’re about to find out why they survived among Dinosaurs!

CROCODILE FEED SHOW

GATORAMA has the only breeding colony of American Crocodiles in the United States! After seeing the GATOR feed show the CROCS take it up a notch. The speed and agility of these stealthy predators will amaze you. You will get to see our keepers expertly hand feed these massive apex predators as they lunge up out of the water taking raw meat from their hands.
