- Guests with reservations will report to the Crackin’ Barn for a safety briefing and to don safety equipment. Slide presentation will be viewed to learn identification of crocodile scratching and safe practices and previous collecting from years past. The lucky guests will then meet up with our team and proceed to the Crocodile bank.
- When a location is identified as a possible nesting site two guests will man the safety poles to help keep the mama Crocodile in the water and two guests will assist in excavating the nesting site. Positions will be switched so that all participants have a chance at both preventing the crocodile from advancing up the bank and also digging for Crocodile Eggs.
- After the nesting site is secured any eggs the team collected will be brought back to the incubator where participants will help candle the eggs, document the collection and secure the eggs in the incubator.
- Due to the necessity of everyone’s total focus on the task at hand no phones or camera’s will be allowed on the crocodile bank or in the incubator.
